Support
A real person reads this address. There is no ticket system, no chatbot and no account to log into — because there are no accounts.
Usually answered within two working days. Cycora is made by one developer, so a reply may take longer at a weekend.
Writing about a bug? It helps enormously to say which phone you have, which version of Cycora you are on (Settings → Check for updates shows it), and what you did just before it went wrong. Please do not send screenshots of your cycle data — a description of the problem is enough, and we would rather not receive it.
Common questions
How do I back up my data?
Settings → Save a backup. It is free, not part of Pro. It writes your history to a file and hands it to your phone's share sheet, so you choose where it goes — your own cloud drive, a message to yourself, anywhere you like.
This matters more than it does in most apps. Cycora has no server, so there is no copy anywhere except on your phone. If you lose the phone without a backup file, the history is gone, and we cannot recover it because we never had it. Turn on Back up every 3 months in Settings and Cycora will remind you.
I have a backup file. How do I restore it?
Settings → Restore from a backup, and pick the .json file. Restoring is free too — neither half is part of Pro, because getting your own history back onto a new phone should not need a purchase.
A restore only ever adds. Any day already on the phone is kept as it is, so restoring twice changes nothing and cannot overwrite something you have logged since. That also means a restore cannot be used to replace a history you want to correct: delete the wrong entries first, then restore.
I bought Pro and it is not unlocked on my new phone.
Open Settings → Cycora Pro and tap Restore a previous purchase. Use the same Apple Account or Google account you bought it with; the purchase is tied to that, not to Cycora.
If it still does not unlock, email us with the store you bought from and the date, and we will help you work out where it went.
Why does the app say my window is only an estimate?
Because it is. Until six cycles have been logged, the fertile window is built from the cycle range you gave during setup rather than from cycles Cycora has measured, and every label that describes it says "estimated" for that reason.
You can reach a measured window sooner by adding the start dates of past periods: Cycle history → add a date. Six real starts is all it needs.
Why is almost the whole month marked fertile?
That is the calendar method working correctly rather than a fault. The window is built from your shortest and your longest cycle, so the further apart those two are, the wider the window has to be.
Two things narrow it honestly. Check your history for a period you did not log — one missing entry makes two cycles look like a single very long one. And Cycora Pro's temperature and mucus tracking adds the symptothermal double-check, which can close a window the dates alone would keep open.
How do I switch between English and Filipino?
Settings → Language. Choosing "Follow the device" uses whatever your phone is set to.
If a Filipino phrase reads oddly or seems to say something stronger than the English does, please tell us. The Filipino copy is being reviewed and that kind of report is genuinely useful.
How do I delete my data?
Tap any day to edit or delete what is on it, and Cycle history lists every period start for the same. To remove everything at once, uninstall Cycora: all of it lives in the app's own private storage and goes with it.
There is nothing to request from us. We hold no copy, so there is nothing on our side to delete.
Does Cycora work without an internet connection?
Entirely. The app never makes a network request of its own. The only things that touch the internet are your app store, when you buy Pro or install an update, and those are handled by Apple or Google rather than by us.
Can I use Cycora as contraception?
No. Cycora is not a contraceptive, it does not prevent pregnancy, and it is not a medical device. In everyday use the calendar method is meaningfully less effective at preventing pregnancy than it is when followed perfectly.
If you are avoiding or trying for a pregnancy, talk to a doctor or a trained fertility awareness instructor. Cycora is a record and a calculation, not advice.
Reporting something serious
If Cycora ever shows a day as safe when your own dates say otherwise, that is the one kind of bug worth interrupting us about. Email villetorio@gmail.com with the word urgent in the subject and describe what the app showed and what you expected — no data needed.
The same address takes questions about the privacy policy.
